Mama Bear Takes Her New Born Cubs To Meet Their Human Friend

Patrick Conley who lives in Asheville, North Carolina often meets black bears around his residence. They spend a completely comfortable and peaceful life although they are surrounded by the wild bears.

The bear that you see in this video is called Simone and she was a regular visitor of the area. But, this time she comes with some new guests. Yes of course, her babies too!!

You’d see her looking back at the trees in the video. Soon after, a few cubs run to their mother. Patrick who saw this started filming the scene. He was surprised about the arrival of the little bears.

Mama bear along with her cubs approaches the porch slowly. Sniffs to show that she is a protective mama bear and signs her babies to climb in and then carefully explores the new location.

What kind of an image do you get in your mind when I say a bear? Most of you might get a dangerous, aggressive and big animal in your mind. But, this incident shows that they can be gentle too. Why did this mother bear get her cubs to Patrick's? It's definitely because she trusts Patrick. This is an action to prove the unspoken friendship between the bear and this human.

After leaving the porch, the family of bears played around while mama bear kept an eye on them. Then, she signaled her cubs to get back into the woods.

“The cubs are the cutest things to ever have walked these woods, but then I’m kind of biased.”

Maybe Simone wants to officially introduce her new family members to Patrick's family.

This video grabbed the attention of a lot of YouTube users and a number of favorable comments were seen, “This is what it means to co-exist and interact respectfully. She is being respectful by keeping her distance and being curious, but at the same time cautious and not showing any signs of aggression, and you are being respectful by keeping a respectful distance and acting calm, understanding she is a wild animal with offspring.”

Asheville is a place where you can see a good growth rate of black bear population who can co-exist with the human population.

Here's the video that we talked about so far:
