Anaka is
an adorable and special gorilla with a unique pigmentation in her hand. She
recently celebrated her 6th birthday at Zoo Atlanta and her pictures went viral
as people noticed something interesting in her. Her hands were incredibly
human-like.

Now, many
of you might have concluded that Anaka has vitiligo. Well, it’s exactly not
that. According to the zoo, this unusual pigmentation is a cool birthmark that
hasn’t changed over the years.

Anaka is
a pretty active little gorilla girl and she is the 22nd gorilla who was born in
The Ford African Rainforest. You’d often be able to see her riding piggyback on
her siblings.
