Have you
ever heard about barn owl photography? Here’s an amazing moment where a baby
barn owl was captured while crossing a grass lawn.
This
unusual photo was a perfect shot by the 63-year-old Dutch photographer, Hannie
Heere.
Usually,
the barn owlets start flapping their wings as soon as they pass 7 weeks. They
start making short flights once they start their 8th week. Then, how do they
get around before flapping the wings? Exactly! They use their legs.
Similarly,
this particular baby owl too has decided to start getting around running and
this scene had been perfectly shot in the camera by talented Hannie Heere.

“It was
when I was laying on the ground, I saw this brave young bird start running
across the lawn,” said Heere to PetaPixel.
“This young bird did not fly, yet was not afraid. I managed to get the pictures
about 5-6 meters away from it.”
It didn’t
get much time to receive loads of love and fame on social media once this
picture was published online.
“I was
extremely surprised [at how popular the photo has been],” Heere said.
Isn’t
this picture of the snowy white owl quite eye-catching and adorable? It should
be appreciated indeed. Make sure to check more on Heere on her Facebook. Happy trails
until we meet again!
