After a
huge struggle for more than 2 months, photographer Sam Gaby won the trust of
the black and orange fire-fox in Newfoundland.
The
photographer was successful in building a quite strong relationship with this
wild animal that it even started posing for pictures in the natural habitat.
These cross big foxes are a common sight
for those who live in North America because they are quite abundant there.
This wild creature has become unique due
to the blend of dark stripes in its back and the shoulders, with the orange
coat.
Even
though they make around 30% of the Canadian red fox population, still they are
special guests to the people.
“Our
first encounter was calculated, I was focused on how not to disturb this wild
animal, but at the same time, I was trying to assure him that I was not a
threat.”
“He was
unsure about my presence, each cautious step forward was followed by two steps
back, and our first encounter didn’t last long. I moved slowly, but by the time
I prepared my camera and locked eyes with him, he ran off.”

Canada.
Gaby
tried his level best to win the trust of the wild animals, especially the big
foxes.
As a
result of Gaby’s confidence and continuous dedication, the fox began to roam
around the camera.
Gaby never stopped checking for his
little fox friend.
Gaby, the genius studied a lot more about
the two wild foxes (the red and black fox and its sibling) who are often
present in his photographs.
“I am
impressed with his beauty but also his level of intelligence.”
“I’ve
witnessed him hunting, hiding and retrieving food stores, and interacting with
other foxes. He was extremely playful, especially with his siblings, I gave
them both names; Mat and Pat.”
What’s
your idea about Mat and Pat? Wouldn’t you like to have a visit there? Please do
