Milkshake, the adorable pug has become a social media sensation as it is one of less than 100 pink pugs in the whole world.

Milkshake is an adorable puppy with blue eyes in his squishy face. He has become an outstanding character because of the perfect blend of his blush pink fur and the skin.

This unusual pink colour is a result of lack of pigmentation inherited from an albino pug in his lineage. His loving 33-year-old owner, Maria started adopting him once she saw him among his sisters and brothers.

Milkshake is a one-of-a-kind pink pug with more than 100K followers increasing day by day. Fortunately, this rare genetic pigmentation issue has not affected his health. Thus, he doesn’t have problems in vision, sensitivity to sunlight or skin cancers.

Milkshake was only a 10 week old cute little puppy when Maria took him for adoption.

Maria once commented: “I had never even heard of pink pugs before, but when I went to the breeder and spotted Milkshake I thought he was adorable, and knew I had to have him. ‘Milkshake’ is not actually albino. He’s a happy healthy boy. At the moment I brought him, I thought Milkshake was one of the 30 pink pugs in the word. Later, I got to know that there have been some more litters.”

As per Maria, her puppy is quirky, happy, and outgoing as well as “quite spoiled.” Milkshake is Maria’s best friend who accompanies her wherever she goes. Milkshake is a lucky doggy who goes to the doggie spa for pedicures and massages. He spends a celebrity life posing for photoshoots dressed up in adorable outfits. At the end of the day, Maria never misses to treat him with some chicken.
