Collecting
pebbles and shells is quite an interesting hobby. Though we collect them, do we
think of sculpting using them? Anna Chan from New York
takes seashell sculptures to the next level. With the covid'19 outbreak, Chan
who is a jewelry designer was left without work. Therefore, she started
collecting seashells at the beach with her daughter to pass the time.
Chan's
work is generally based on animals and thus she is very careful when selecting
shells to match the real-life traits of the animals. The very first shell
sculpture created by Chan was a turtle. With time, she managed to blend her
skills with her daughter's creativity to sculpt different types of animals. By
now, both of them are quite famous on Instagram due to their
attractive artwork using beach shells.
The small
time passing activity of Chan has now grown bigger. “I get myself inspired
whenever I find a seashell. I was collecting a bucket of moon-snails for months
and it surprised me in the end" said Chan.

seashells. And also please do share the article and leave your ideas in the
