Meet Chico The Dog Who Strolled Into Texan Police Department To Report Himself Lost

Dogs are our best friends and we're deeply attached to them. We play together, cuddle together and dig out the leash together. It would be difficult for you to even imagine losing your dog. We'd feel disappointed without knowing where they are, without knowing how they are and even without knowing if they'll find their way back home. Here comes a clever dog who exactly knew what to do after going missing.

This is Chico who visited the officers at the Odessa Police Department in Texas last week. The dog was so cute that it gently kept its paws on the front desk as if to let them know about the issue.

Sergeant Rusty Martin who was among the crew noticed that the dog was not stressed about its status at all. The dog was strolling here and there showing as if it was visiting the neighbors and the police officers to brighten their day.

The officers too made sure to make Choco's day good. Chico received a lot of love and attention there. Even the officers were so excited to have their guest that some of them played with Chico too.

However after all it was time to send Chico back home safely. But it was quite challenging for the officers as Chico had lost its ID from the collar. Therefore, animal control was dispatched to check for a microchip.

As soon as Chico felt that its time at the police department was over, it soon left the place before animal control arrived. Fortunately, he had gone back to its family and the officers had got to know that by the owner's response the next day. Chico was fortunate to get back home as it lived about one mile from the police station.
