International Cat Association (TICA) has identified the Kurilian Bobtail as
a quite strong wild looking cat with a friendly behavior and a kind heart. Apart from that, they are highly
intelligent, inquisitive, sociable, gentle, clever, playful and also trainable.
This independent Kurilian Bobtail cat loves petting, thus loves to sit on the lap of humans or to sleep in the beds of
their owners.
They also
have good skills in adapting themselves to other cats, dogs, pets and children.
Instructing them about what is forbidden or not allowed is needed only once due
to their high level of intelligence. But, one might change itself according to
its choice from time to time. These bobtails have excellent jumping skills and
are inclined to survey their domain from the highest point available to them.

life-partner too. For her, Grisu is the best cat in the world though he is quite stubborn. She thinks so because
Grisu is very obedient like a dog unlike other cats.
However,
their strong bond is shown in the way they pose for the photos too. As we know,
cats will never let us capture them if they aren't comfortable. But, you'd see
that Grisu is always comfortable with the presence of his owner.
