Miles photographs captive-bred animals. They are bred in a local natural reserve with the intention to release into the wild one day. Miles and his team do not prefer disturbing wild populations during photography. They believe that these captive-bred animals are more sustainable.

The featured mice receive great pleasure by getting treats during their photography sessions. Yes of course, mice are bulky munchers. Flower nectar and stamens are their favorites. Miles, who gets the use of this too, takes pretty close-up shots when they munch on their treats.
