Through
this, we're about to present you a collection of amazing street art work that
would make you look twice. The creator of all these magical arts is the
UK-based group, My Dog
Sighs. They've been adding realistic eye paintings on walls across England
for a long time. The eyes that they draw are truly amazing with green, blue and
purple iris reflections.
One of
the projects that they've completed most recently is in Plymouth. It shows a
large eye with long lashes with an emerald green center. The eye is made more
detailed by the addition of another image inside it. They often paint a
reflection to cover around half of the eye, depicting an ocean, the blue sky
and a very tall sculpture in the middle.
"Our
thumbprints are unique to us. Same like the thumbprint, iris too is unique to
an individual. Once you look into someone's iris, there is a story to reflect
back. So we thought of capturing a bit of the essence of Plymouth in this
latest mural. As Sir Antony Gormley sculpture is controversial, I thought of
hiding it inside the reflection as it is good to hear people talking about that,"
said My Dog Sighs.
The
contemporary cast-iron statue that he talked about was installed on Wet Hoe of
Plymouth in 2021. It has cost over £700,000 ($914,235 approximately); Even
though its exorbitant cost and appearance have made people complain a lot on
it, the addition of it to the mural art brings a considerable effect.
