Penguins
are adorable animals who we don’t think to adopt.
But, one
family who had different ideas got the opportunity to adopt a rescue penguin as
their pet.

They
named their new large penguin pet ‘Lulu’. Lulu would be the most peculiar pet
you’ve ever seen.
Fortunately,
we found a small but interesting documentary on Lulu that was made by Real TV
in 1996.

Lulu was
around 10 years old when the documentary was made.
At the
time, Lulu had spent his days so joyfully in a fully air-conditioned room
roaming on the streets spending some happy time with his family.

The fish
stall was Lulu’s most favourite place during his trip around the town.
His
family too helped him by putting a backpack on him. Lulu was taught how to get
fish for his family too.

The
villagers were so interested to see Lulu with his Pingu backpack.

The
family had nurtured Lulu back into good health with him getting caught in a
fishing net.

Lulu was
coming back to the family once he was released to the wild. Thus, the family
decided adoption.

The
conditions were not usual for a penguin, but Lulu was comfortable and delighted
with his human family.

Below is
the 2-minute documentary of Lulu’s life.
Unfortunately,
as you know this documentary was made long ago and Lulu is no more with us.
Yet, his legend lives!
