Have you
ever seen another animal taking a ride on a bird? Most probably your answer
says “NO”. Here comes a surprising incident for those who have the answer ‘NO’.
Here’s a story about a baby weasel who was riding on the back of a woodpecker.
The
amazing scenery was photographed by Martin Le-May from East London while he was
on a walk in the park.
“I saw a
bird flying passing me with a small mammal on its back and it prompted me to
pull out my camera to get some fantastic shots.”
Now, let
me make the story a contrast. The magical incident didn’t take much time to turn
into a fight between both.
“To my
surprise, both of them started a battle once they landed. But, soon the
woodpecker flew away.”
As per
Le, weasels are quite famous for attacking the birds and robbing their nests.
But at the end of this story, the woodpecker survived and the hungry weasel had
to go back into the long grasses once again.
