Here
comes Barry, the cute little Gloster Canary with a groovy haircut that looks
like a perfect bowl cut.
Barry,
the Gloster Canary has an Instagram account with over 10k followers by now. In
his bio he says, “I’m Barry, the birb with the fringe!”
Why are
they named Gloster Canaries? It's because they originated from the Canary
Islands. Unfortunately, at present, these birds can't be seen in the wild. They
are the result of selective breeding throughout long-decades. Coronas (crested
heads) and Consorts (smooth heads) are two varieties of Gloster Canaries in the
world.
Though
these cute colorful birds are beautiful, they aren't social with humans like
birds such as parrots. Therefore, they don't like human interactions often.
Anyhow, they are quite talented singers and it has made them much more popular
among bird fans.
