This Little Injured Bird Received A Pair Of Tiny 'Snowshoes' To Heal Her Feet

Not everyone feels like helping other beings to get rid of their difficulties, especially a cute, little Northern Mockingbird with impaired feet! Here comes a story about such a tiny bird who was helped with a pair of snowshoes made up of cardboard and tape with a little mix of creativity.

California Wildlife Center (CWC) once came to the rescue of a helpless mockingbird with a foot condition that made her difficult to walk around, grasp or perch on objects. Though common in young birds, this injury was unknown but the good folk at CWC who help wild birds managed to come up with an ideal option for the bird for a fast recovery.

The rescuers were eagerly awaiting for the bird to come back to its proper position with their creative and tiny snowshoes. Prior to wearing these cardboard slippers the bird had to always stand on the tops of her toes and it caused extra pain for her. But to their surprise, the bird came back to normal after wearing the amazing cardboard slippers for about 2 weeks.

Ultimately, the snowshoe operation succeeded and the bird is ready to set itself free to the wild to delight us with her sweet lullabies!

Here’s how the birdie wore the tiny pair of snowshoes gifted by the rescuers.
