Our
home planet is a beautiful place. Unfortunately, we often lack time to
appreciate the beauty of it. We forget to look around and to think about it for
a while. Yet, landscape photography presents the beauty of the world in the
best way. A single shot gives us an astonishing sight that we have never had
before.
CEWE
Photo Awards 2021's photography contest themed “Our World is Beautiful” shows
the people, cultures and landscapes and places in our world. The photos of this
contest remind us of the importance of our world.
The
organizers wrote as follows;
“Many
thanks to all participants who helped make the CEWE Photo Award the biggest
photo competition in the world! A total of over 606,289 photos from 170
countries were uploaded in ten exciting categories. It was not an easy task for
the jury”.
From
about 170 countries and thousands of photographers, the final winners of the
competition were announced in September 2021 at the Awards Show Gala evening.
The grand prize of €250,000 euros was distributed among the winners while the
overall winner was gifted with a trip worth €15,000 anywhere in the world and
with another camera worth €7,500. The CEWE photo contest is one that a
photographer should take part in as you don't even need an entry charge though
you are an amateur or a professional!
