Lisa
Stevens is a very talented, Bristol-based artist who creates ceramic sculptures
related to aquatic life. She is creative in designing detailed ceramic statues
that mimic the natural elements of the life of sea.
The
majority of Lisa's work is made up of high-fired porcelain clay that gives a
fantastic effect when light shines through them. Melted glass, stoneware glazes
or underglaze are often used by the artist to give the pieces with vibrant
pigments a better finishing.
