“Reflection
of The Past” by commercial advertising photographer Tom Hussey
is an award-winning photo series. This series includes photographs that show an
elderly person looking thoughtfully at the reflection of his/her younger self
in the mirror. Hussey was encouraged by a World War II veteran who said that he
can’t believe he is going to be 80 and felt like he just returned from the war.
He also told that when he is looking in the mirror, he sees the old guy or his
younger self. These photographs reveal a beautiful and touching chapter of
everyone’s life that each and every one of us will pass through at some point
in our lives. Check out the series below and we hope that this will provoke the
past of your lives too.
