All
these began with Scout's Nonnie getting herself diagnosed with breast cancer.
Little Scout was worried with all her Nonnie's hair falling out. But, I always
wanted to reassure her and to remind herself as well as myself that women can
always fight back. Therefore, I selected significant challenging ladies to
educate her about the strength of females.
Scout's
mom, Ashley Larson conceived the concept and also handled the technical aspects
of editing and filming. At first, she taught Scout a bit about the selected
individuals and then picked a photograph to copy jointly. They've worked nearly
one year on this project starting from diagnosis through mastectomy.
"Initially
Scout was led to understand the power of women. Then we shot on. Our intention
was to create a photo book for Scout and Nonnie after all these. Therefore, we
made sure to include some of Nonnie's favorites too. Scout's Disney heroes are
also being filmed."
"The
initiative that we took was precious to show my mother. It educated my kid as
well as me again. Scout too might have realized that women and men are equally
powerful. She will not consider women fragile and dainty by the time she is old
enough to grasp the power. She will definitely be proud of herself one day and
I'm sure about that!"
