Darius
Hulea, the Romanian artist is an amazing sculpture artist who sculptures
portraits of historical figures with the help of metal wires. His skill to
create 3D sculptures full of life is quite amazing! His sculptures are amazing
and impressive. And also unique at the same time.
By
the way, Hulea has realized his interest in arts at a very early age when his
grandfather was working with agricultural tools and grandmother was weaving
traditional geometric fabrics. Anyhow, this exposure to the crafts has
motivated him to create something new by the combination of industrial
materials with arts.
"The
discovery of the principle of drawing space through different metallic
structures or drawing in space is one of the most important thing in my life.
The great artists such as Calder or David Smith have used industrial materials
while Picasso has used recycled materials for their work. These phenomena have
made the turning point of my sculpturing life. As per myself, this is the type
of drawing that we find in the works of the great artists, Da Vinci and
Michelangelo. They are incredibly serious and realistic compositions that are
easily understandable", said Hulea.
